Women’s Small Group

¯ WOW Bible Study: Is taking a break and will start up again after the Simulcast with Me, Myself, and Lies: A Thought Closet Makeover - by Jennifer Rothschild provides a personal Bible study that encourages women to clean out the junk in their minds and replace hidden negative thoughts with positive truths from God's word. It begins Monday, September 27, at 6:30p and Tuesday, September 28, at 9:00a (childcare is available for the Tuesday morning study). Cost is $14.00. Senior High Small Groups

* Mondays at 3:45p— Mike’s Basement Bible Study (contact Mike at mcollison@applefreechurch.org or 735-9971)

* College and High School Students: We're doing a small group this summer based on Philip Yancey's What's So Amazing About Grace? It is held Mondays at 7:00pm at Angela’s place - call or e-mail her if you have questions or need directions. Oh - and there's FOOD

Saturday Men’s Group

* Men’s Morning Fellowship meets every Wednesday at 6:00a for breakfast at Angels Restaurant on John Street.

* Saturday Morning Men’s Group: There We will resume October 23, and continue to meet on the fourth Saturday of each month. Mark your calendars now so you don’t forget.

Thursday Morning Small Group

* Thursday Morning Small Group meets every other Thursday from 9:30a to 11:00a. If interested, please call the Church Office for address 735-9971 or office@applefreechurch.org . Bring your own beverage and muffin. We are looking forward to growing together with you in Christ.

Healthy Balance Small Group

* The Healthy Balance Small Group meets on Wednesdays at 4:30p. We will be taking a break during September and start back up Wednesday, October 6, with the 12 week Bible Study: Growing in the Fruit of the Spirit by Carol Lewis. Most people would like to be known as kind, gentle, loyal and loving, but many do not know that developing these traits is also the key to living a balanced life mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually! The Bible says that love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control are the fruit of the Spirit that grow in believers lives as they submit to Christ (Gal. 5:19-23). In this Bible study, we will discover how growing the fruit of the Spirit will transform them into the whole and balanced creations God intends us to be. Cost for the book is $14. You may weigh-in before the meeting if you want accountability. This is a nice small group to bring friends, neighbors, and co-workers. There is no cost for these meetings except for the book.
